You're here for the Sales Nav tip that will book you a meeting within your target accounts.
Let's get right into it.
COMMI$H’$ 5 $TAR TIP:
Anyways, within 48 hours, I've had 4 people message me saying they booked meetings from the tactics I shared.
We don't have time for all 4, but I will show you one so you can see how simple this really is.
Here is the Sales Nav filter stack she used:
• Years in company: Less than 1 year
• Posted on LinkedIn: Last 30 days
• Account List: Their targeted accounts

That's it. Three filters. Also, remember we use the "posted on LinkedIn" filter because we know they are active.
Here's what happened next.
They found someone who'd been at the company for 7 months. Recent enough to have pain, settled enough to have budget. Exactly what we want in this scenario.
She sent a voice message following our AMP framework and kept it under 48 seconds. Since I can't play the recording out loud, here's the transcript:

“Hey Luke! Just wanted to put a voice to the name and say thanks for connecting. Hope you are liking the role at Starkey so far. IDK if you’ve ever heard of IMPLAN but I saw online Starkey has done some high level global impact reporting in the past. IMPLAN can help your team quantify the broader economic impact of hearing loss and intervention. Valuable data for when you have to go speak with policymakers about income loss and gains if treatment is provided. Let me know if you want to chat further”
Prime example of be brief, be brilliant, and be gone.
Response came back within minutes! The meeting has been booked for next week.
The key here is be relevant, try new things and be willing to be different in a human way. That is what we are all about in this newsletter.
I get so fired up when I see results like this, especially when you use Sales Nav in this way. It just sharpens the message.
The message doesn't have to be wild. It just has to be relevant.
You're not some random bot in their inbox. You have a reason to reach out.
Stop overthinking the message.
Start obsessing over the filters.
Have confidence. Send the DM. The results are waiting.
P.S. Speaking of results, Anthony Natoli and I are cooking with our new webinar series called Pipeline Power Hours. This is where we take your burning questions and answer them live without any slides. Come join us.
CHEAT CODE$:
Messaging on LinkedIn is not just about sending one message and hoping for a response. It has never worked that way and it probably never will. Like it will Neva Eva work. (If you can reply and tell me what song that is from you are a shining star)
When you message people on LinkedIn you need multiple messages that get in front of people at the right time.
This AI prompt builds sequences that actually get responses. It’s called the "4-Touch Sequence Generator" Prompt:
"You are a cold messaging expert with 20 years of experience writing DM sequences that generate high reply rates from busy decision-makers.
Build a 4-step LinkedIn message sequence that:
Focuses on one specific pain point my ICP is likely facing
Delivers one clear value insight or angle per message (no fluff)
Follows a natural, conversational tone not overly formal or robotic
Ends with a low-friction CTA (e.g., "worth a convo?" or "curious if this is top of mind?")
Adds in human touches or light humor where appropriate
Considers their region or industry when crafting language and examples
Each message must:
Be under 300 characters
Sound like it came from me (direct, smart, trusted advisor, not salesy)
Include placeholders for light personalization (e.g., recent post, role change, funding)
Bonus: Follow the AMP Outbound Framework wherever it fits best:
Observation → Context → Pain → Power Move → Curiosity CTA"
If you are struggling on what 3-4 messages you should send in a DM this prompt gives you the foundation. This will not give you the magic formula but it will give you the structure to get started so you can bring the human touch.
AI gets you to the starting line.
Your personality gets you across the finish.
THE JOURNEY:
Theme: Finally Free
My mom texts me once a week asking, "How are you actually doing?" Usually, I hit her with "I'm good" or "Things are going great." Sometimes I'm honest and say I'm struggling.
But last week I had a different answer.
"I feel free."
She texted back. "What do you mean? Why u feel so free?"
Here's what I told her:
I finally feel like I'm operating exactly where I need to be, doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing.
My coach and I always talk about this mantra:
"I'm exactly where I need to be."
And I am starting to ease into it and actually believe it.
I wake up with clarity. I live in a quiet place without chaos. The people in my life love me and I love them back. I have peace because my faith tells me Jesus and God have my back. I love my hobbies like learning how to dance, playing pickleball and hiking.
When you have that foundation, you feel free.
Look, I know things are spooky right now in the world. Like, very spooky season. I'm not here to pretend everything's perfect. But that's exactly why now is the time to invest in your relationships and what you truly believe in.
From this place of freedom, I can go deeper into my content than ever before. I'm seeing things differently because I'm intentionally going deeper into myself, my relationships, and most importantly, my relationship with Jesus Christ.
My commitment is crystal clear:
Be the face and voice of LinkedIn and innovative outbound. Create a human-based sales approach in an AI world.
AI is coming fast. There are moments I feel nervous about it. But I feel free because I know that humanity and good nature will win.
Everything will be exactly the way it needs to be.
I'll be exactly where I need to be.
You'll be exactly where you need to be.
If you've been on a webinar with me… appreciate you.
If you've seen what we're building… appreciate you.
I'm hopeful for the future.
When you work on yourself, you can find that freedom too.
